We are specialized in providing of IP (intellectual property) protection services – including trademark registration - to our clients. Such in the field of managing, protecting and exploitation of IP rights.

As part of our IP management services we are providing both litigation and tax structure services to our clients. The latter for the set up of tax advantageous structures to achieve higher return on investment out of IP licensing activities.

IP2-protect is specialized in the registration of trademarks in the Caribbean and South America. Further we are also providing trademark registration services in other jurisdictions. Such, among others, through the Madrid system for the International Registration of Trademarks.

We are specialized in the licensing of trademarks through special purpose licensing companies located - among others - in the BVI Cyprus, Curacao and Panama. Such to achieve low or no taxation of profits derived from the licensing of trademarks. In this perspective we assist with:

• the set up of the trademark licensing company in tax advantageous offshore jurisdictions
• registration of the trademarks in the name of the licensing company
• providing of local management for the licensing company through our network of trust service providers
• drafting of contracts for the transfer of the trademark rights to the offshore licensing company
• drafting of contracts for the licensing of the trademark rights to group companies or third parties against remuneration
